Divine Deliverance from life-threatening Amniotic Band and Tongue-Tie Problem
Healed at the Miracle Service, Singapore
In 2001,
when Dawn Choo was six weeks pregnant, her gynecologist confirmed through
an ultrasound scan that there was a 2.5cm growth on the right side of her
uterus. Two weeks later, another 1.5cm growth on the left side of her uterus
was found. Dawn was assured that the growths were unlikely to interfere
with the development of the fetus and would be dealt with only after her
childbirth. So, close monitoring was done as the fetus continued its healthy
development.
At her routine check-up 15 weeks into her pregnancy, Dawn's heart sank when
the ultrasound scan revealed clearly an amniotic
band spanning right across her womb. Although there was no threat at that moment, when the fetus grew
larger and occupied the whole space in the womb, the band would hinder the
growth of the fetus. It could cause deformed or
amputated limbs and even become fatal if this amniotic band constricted
the neck or the abdomen of
the fetus. The fact that nothing could be done medically only added to Dawn's
anguish.
With troubled hearts, Dawn and her husband attended the Miracle Service
that same night. Despite the discouraging news in the day, they chose to
trust God. After prayer, they went home without sensing anything unusual
or tangible.
Two days later, Dawn went for another scan. To the astonishment of her gynecologist,
the amniotic band that was discovered just two days before had completely
disappeared. God had miraculously resolved a life-threatening problem.
Baby Ben Choo was born at full term and is in good health. Dawn was so joyful
that she forgot totally about the two growths in her uterus. A mild pain
in her abdomen in October 2002 finally reminded her of the growths. She
consulted her gynecologist who confirmed that not a single trace of the
growths could be found.
When Dawn was a little girl, she underwent surgery to rectify her tongue-tie
condition, an impeded motion of the tongue because of the shortness of the
membrane extending from the floor of the mouth to the undersurface of the
tongue. So, when Ben had difficulty sticking out his tongue, Dawn brought
him to a pediatrician who confirmed that Ben had a tongue-tie problem and
might need surgery if the condition persisted. Dawn again trusted the Lord
and prayed for Ben at the Miracle Service. In just a few days, Dawn's prayer
was answered when Ben started playfully sticking out his tongue. Praise
the Lord!

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his
benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who
redeems your life from
the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires
with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's
