Elaine
Total Deliverance From Diabetes Insipidus
Healed at the Miracle Service, Singapore
In October 2001, Elaine started to have dizzy spells and acute thirst.
Despite consuming large amount of fluids, she would be thirsty again in
less than half an hour. This pronounced and excessive thirst prompted
her to consult a doctor. The prognosis took her by surprise. Not only
was she diagnosed to have an early stage diabetes mellitus (the common
type of diabetes) but also diabetes insipidus,
a rare form of diabetes.
Elaine was devastated because she had always
enjoyed good health. She was immediately placed under medication, including
oral medicine
and inhaler, which was aimed at controlling only the symptoms of the
disease. However, after a few months, although the acute thirst had reduced,
her
dizzy spells persisted. As a result of frequent medical leave, her work
performance was severely affected. With loss of weight and constant lethargy,
fear began to creep in. She slipped into depression and even had suicidal
tendencies at times.
In her plight, Elaine remembered how her mother-in-law
received Christ at one of the Miracle Services. For 30 years, Elaine's
mother-in-law
suffered arthritic pain in her legs. At that service, she saw God's loving
kindness through the many healing miracles and thus committed her life
to Jesus. Encouraged, Elaine decided to trust God and attended the Miracle
Service. Subsequently, she also learned how to stand on God's Word by
confessing them in her prayers. Progressively, her condition improved
and the previous symptoms subsided.
On the eve of Christmas in 2002, Elaine had a scheduled
medical appointment. Before she saw the doctor, she pleaded with the Lord
for a wonderful Christmas present. When the test results returned, her
doctor told her to stop all the medication because no trace of diabetes
insipidus could be detected. Elaine had been totally delivered from the
rare disease. Amen!
