Delivered From Diabetes
Healed at the Miracle Service, Singapore
In early September 2003, Claire Ng experienced trauma in both her big
toes after a gym workout. Swollen and with fluid discharge,
the pain just
raged on for two weeks. On September 25, her condition was
so bad that her doctor referred her to a hospital that same night.
At the
A&E
department, blood test was conducted as the standard practice
for any patient with swelling or infection. Claire was completely
dumbfounded
by the result. She was diagnosed as having severe diabetes with
her blood sugar level looming high at 17.9 (the nominal level is less
than 10.0).
As she had a healthy lifestyle and there was no family history of the
disease, Claire found it extremely difficult to accept that she was diabetic.
At
the invitation of a Lighter, she decided to attend the Miracle Service
on September 27, 2003. The moment she stepped into the
Sanctuary, she felt very at ease. Before that, she had been seeking the
Lord for a church to settle in. When the praise and worship started,
tears
rolled down her cheeks. Immediately, she knew in her heart that she had
found her home church.
On October 4, 2003, Claire went for her blood test
to ascertain the severity of her diabetes. The result would be out two
weeks later.
She came to the Miracle Service the following two Saturdays and also
prayed earnestly at home for complete healing of diabetes.
On
October 18 morning, she received God's assurance of her healing
through the scriptural verse on her devotional calendar
for that day (Jeremiah 30:17 - "But I will restore you to health
and heal your wounds," declares the Lord). Finally the
result was revealed and Claire was declared diabetes free
with a very
healthy blood
sugar level of 4.1! Even her doctor was astonished and had
no explanation for the incredible improvement in just three
weeks.
