Debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis
Healed at the Miracle Service, Singapore
In just a day, Teo Sek Jen was struck with pain all over her
body. She was immediately hospitalized in September 2000. Doctors diagnosed
that she was suffering from rheumatoid arthritis -
her joints were inflamed.
As her condition deteriorated, shifting from
sitting to standing position or vice versa was torturous and had to be
done slowly.
It was difficult to lift her right arm. Even breathing inflicted pain
to her diaphragm. In the following months when Sek Jen became physically
disabled, she had to rely on her husband, Joseph, even to go to the bathroom.
Her suffering was so grave that her children thought she was going to
die.
Sek Jen went through many kinds of treatment, including
hydrotherapy and acupuncture. She was prescribed steroids, painkillers
and even medicine from Chinese physicians. All these provided little
improvement
to her condition. In fact, the treatments added to her suffering and
some of the medication caused bleeding in her stomach.
At the Miracle
Service, after hearing the testimony of a lady who was healed of the
same condition, Sek Jen internalized within
herself that she, too, would receive healing from God. Her condition
slowly but steadily improved, even though she reduced her medication.
In just
a few months, she was able to walk with only slight pain.
By the end of July 2001, not a trace of the debilitating
illness could be found in her. She was delivered totally. Glory to God!
