This verse teaches us to honour the elderly and treat them with respect and dignity. We can and should honour them for their seniority out of common courtesy as well as for the wisdom and experience they have accumulated in life, out of respect.

God has the power to change the course of our lives with just one move. He has the power to turn our lives around. In the presence of His Spirit, who we are and what we’ve done before don’t matter anymore.

This past week, we reflected upon the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This devotional will provide an overview of the events leading up to the crossing over Jordan into the land of their inheritance.
